Preacher says world will actually end in October
So... a preacher Harold Camping from OAKLAND, california says,
"sorry folks, my calculation was wrong about May 21, 2011 as the Judgement date.
Now it is October 21, 2011."
WTF.....?
there is no takesy-backsy on Dooms Day predictions Mister!!
you get to make only one of those.
i mean, if October 21, 2011 comes and there are no apparent Judgement Day action happening,
will he apologize again and tell us that it will happen 5 months later? yet again..?
According to the article, "The 89-year-old retired civil engineer also prophesied the Apocalypse would come in 1994, but said later that didn't happen then because of a mathematical error."
the most disturbing information in all of this is how much money, time and true devotion people are willing to give up based on what this man preaches about.
and how rich this man's 'Nonprofit' organization is.
"In 2009, the nonprofit reported in IRS filings that it received $18.3 million in donations, and had assets of more than $104 million, including $34 million in stocks or other publicly traded securities."
For Who deceives me once, God forgive him; if twice, God forgive him; but if thrice, God forgive him, but not me, because I could not beware.
